Sweet Potato & Almond Protein Shake Recipe

I love finding new recipes to try for my protein shakes. Most ask for vanilla protein powder, but I usually have chocolate on hand so I adapted this recipe.

Sweet Potato & Almond Protein Shake Recipe

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 serving vanilla protein powder (I used 2 scoops of my chocolate TLS protein powder)

1/2 cup fresh baked sweet potato (I used 1 small sweet potato that equaled 1/4 cup)

1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice (I added a sprinkle on top as a garnish)

Mix everything together in your blender (or new Ninja 🙂 )

You could also add 1 TBSP of Almond butter ( I didn’t have this so I just omitted it)

I may add 1 or 2 ice cubes next time to make it more frothy.

This was a delicious start to my day and a refreshing change.
