Hi, My name is Maureen and I have had the nickname “Mo” since high school.
My birthday is April 11 (411) and I seem to have a unique gift to help people connect with others or find information on what they are looking for.
I love helping others and meeting new people. I have done a lot in my life from volunteering at different charities and running a coupon blog. I currently have fibromyalgia, Adrenal Fatigue, Hypothyroidism, Degenerative Disc Disease and Spinal Stenosis. I share that because my focus is helping those who deal with autoimmune issues, mostly those over 40. (I am currently over 50 ;))
Our bodies change as we age, its important to make sure we are getting blood work at our doctor appointments to stay on top of our crazy hormones and vitamin levels.
In 2012 I made a decision to start taking care of myself. I am married and have 4 children, two with high functioning autism and soon to be a grandma! I stopped taking care of myself only because I was making sure my kids had all the services they needed. I gained 70 lbs, my fibromyalgia was out of control, I was constantly in pain and just didn’t feel like myself.
I found out a few years back that I had a wheat allergy. Taking the wheat/gluten out of my diet, taking an antioxidant and losing weight, I feel like a new person. It did not happen over night. I have lost 30+ lbs and have kept it off for over a year. I have a few more pounds to drop, but I am more excited that my percentage of body fat has dropped 10 points.
As I went through my weight loss journey, I found there were a lot of people who wanted to lose weight and feel better. I have helped coach family and friends who have lost 10-30-40-50+ lbs and they feel great. That is the best feeling in the world.
I am your JoyFull Wellness Coach. I am focused on the healthy, not the skinny. I won’t be doing the bikini body for summer. I will be educating on the healthiest food and supplements.
I am here to help encourage and support you as you find what you are looking for to feel better, have more energy and be fit.
Blessings,
Coach Mo
